Well.... what a hectic weekend!
We got the keys to our house on Friday and then the handywork begun!
As we have told you - you go to a shop called IKEA and buy everything in boxes - most of the time you have already seen the real thing upstairs in the showroom... and by boxes, I mean boxes.

Shaun and I made our bed and Alexs bed, Alex chest of drawers (no picture yet) and Alexs white
cupboard (also no pic yet). Shaun and Mark (ex SA) made the cupboards and couches!!!!!! Would you ever have thought that there was so much talent waiting to escape from us! We still need to buy a couple more things and put those together as well.... but I think we have finished the most difficult ones!!!!
So we will now be in our house, but still in the hotel until pay day as we cannot buy oil for hot water, it is about Eur1100, we are fresh out of R12500 rand as we have a plasma to buy!! The other fun starts now with the sorting of the garbage. We have 5 bins in our house for different things: Normal Garbage, Plastic, Paper, Bio-Degradable Stuff and anything else!!!!
Today our container arrives and tomorrow I am on leave to buy the last couple of things that we need! We can move in... except we have no oil at the moment - and this heats our water... so no hot water!!!! Hopefully we will be able to make a plan today or tomorrow for the oil guy to come! I am also really looking forward to pay day.......not for food but for oil = HOT WATER! :)
